About

Literally and figuratively, Lowell is a wolf. Her very name stems from the French origin of the word, but her approach to music, creating, and the way she’s embraced both are a testament to both she and her namesake: fearless, determined, and a natural pack leader.

Lowell's Debut LP Out TODAY, Tour Dates w/ Icona Pop, Dum Dum Girls, Generationals

Lowell has released her critically acclaimed debut album today via Arts & Crafts to a great deal of anticipation. Writing openly about topics like sexual abuse, LGBTQ rights, rape, abortion, and women’s rights throughout the record, her refreshing approach is what stands her unique brand of sophisticated synth-infused pop apart from the rest.

In celebration of the long-awaited album release, Lowell has revealed a remix by the alter-ego of "I Love You Money" co-producer Adam King, IVIVI. Check out “I Love You Money” (IVIVI Remix) HERE and read more about the album + dance to her “Work Out Party Mix” featured on Entertainment Weekly. The We loved Her Dearly album stream premiered with NPR First Listen and is now available at Spotify.

Taking a cue from the rebellious, feminist-punk contemporaries that her messaging has often been compared to (Kathleen Hanna, Beth Ditto), Lowell’s brand of pop conveys the urgency of her subject matter, but her melodies keep songs accessible, optimistic and fun. Lowell’s charmingly earnest yet raucous live show commands audiences to their feet. She will hit the road once again with Icona Pop and Generationals + one-offs with Dum Dum Girls and Monarchy this fall to support the release of We Loved Her Dearly.
