Harvard of the South is excited to release their debut EP Miracle TODAY via Slo Lab Records, and the EP is available now on iTunes as well as physically.
The band previously revealed the EP’s opening track “All Our Ashes”, and today celebrates the release of their debut with the video for title track “Miracle,” created by Bill Moldt.
Of the video, Jeremy Furstenfeld says, “The lyric video we made for this video caught me by surprise. Steve [Schiltz’s] friend, Bill, put this together for us using his own ideas and imagination of the song. Its very childlike, and takes me back to wanting to have the imagination of a child again.”
The “Miracle” video premiered with HitFix- please post and share!
Comprised of Longwave vocalist/guitarist Steve Schiltz and three members of Blue October – brothers Jeremy and Justin Furstenfeld and bassist Matt Noveskey – Harvard of the South traces its beginnings to 2009 when the two groups toured together and is now kicking into high gear. The quartet features Steve and Justin taking the lead as dual vocalists, with Steve and Jeremy as the band’s creative driving force. The band recorded, edited and produced the Miracle EP entirely on its own at Jeremy’s home studio. A full-length album is also in the works.
