Marco is an American songwriter, producer, and recording artist. His musical style blends blues, jazz, latin, soft rock, and R&B. His works feature various guitar styles and layered percussion in both vocal and instrumental formats. Marco plays all instruments and performs all singing on his recordings. The first of four planned ten-song collections (the songs are screaming to get out), Rudiments was independently released by way of www.cdbaby.com in August 2012 . His next digital collection/CD, Surrender Redux, was released in 2015 via cdbaby and is available on iTunes. Blacker & Bluer is scheduled for release to all venues 20 October 2015.
Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, after touring with various bands, primarily in the US, Canada, and Japan, he sequentially semi-settled and worked in Miami; Los Angeles; Monterrey, California; Okinawa; Omaha; South Korea; Maryland; Hawaii; and finally based his home life in Nashville, TN.
Marco is an active member of ASCAP, The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.
He plays Fender, Gibson, Godin, and Martin electric and acoustic guitars; Fender basses; a Yamaha MO8 synthesizer; and a Roland TD-4 drum set.

"Surrender", next album release from jazz R&B songwriter/musician Marco Santiago!
Marco Santiago is an American songwriter/musician based on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. He chucked a career as a high ranking professional earning a six figure salary with the National Intelligence Community to return to his first love; music.
Surrender, releasing in 2013 is the initial studio release from his company, Pacific Pop Productions. Surrender features more vocals in the soft rock, R&B, jazz and blues venues as well as instrumentals.
His demo album, Rudiments, was released in August 2012 featuring smooth jazz, R&B, Latin and soft rock – a mixture of vocals and instrumental pieces.
Marco’s music is based on songwriting styles and flavors of the 1960’s but with a contemporary twist. He blends pop with blues and jazz sensibilities. His projects explore adult alternative soft rock, Latin, R&B, blues and jazz genres.
Although a trained percussionist, Marco is also an accomplished guitarist. His projects include instrumental and vocal works featuring smooth singing, intricate guitar melodies and driving percussion.
Marco performs all production aspects on his projects to include producing, engineering, playing and singing. His targeted audience is adult alternative but ageless.
Marco’s projects are released via CDBaby as digital downloads and physical CD’s available for purchase at the various major Internet music vendors. All Marco’s music is registered with ASCAP.
